Planning Blog - Proposal For Music video

        For our music video we have chose to do the pierce the veil song "falling asleep on a stranger' which currently does not have a video to go with the song, we felt that this was a good song to use as it had completely clean lyrics. The basis for our music video concept is two strangers who are trying to get over loosing a partner a man and a woman, the man is trying to get over losing his girlfried by drinking alot to forget, whereas the woman is depressed and cant come to grips with the loss . For the start of the video we feel it would be a good idea to start off with a shot of each of them at home alone in bed trying but struging to get to sleep then the two shots come together one on each side of the screen both of them in slow motion showing their restlessness.
       Then they both get a phonecall from their friends to come out so they both go out for the night. the woman half heartedly gets dressed not really wanting to go while the man is constantly drinking while getting read. While their out the female character is constantly acting depresed and eventually decides to go home, whereas the male character is drinking and obnoxiously and eventual gets into a fight with his friends and goes home .At the end of the video they both find themselves on the same train home and fall asleep on each other. We feel that this is a good.
         We felt this would be a good way to vidually represent the song as it is about breakups and missing someone and the lyrics are clear to show this we wanted to show how two different people deal with the ending of a relationship.
