This was the final day of editing. I had to make sure that all the clips looked tidy, this was very important to our production value so it looks professional and could pass off as a real music video. Our video had many aspects of a real media video such as fragmentation.
Any clip that we saw not suitable either too short or too long we edited so that it fit perfectly. I also used the overlay file to give a more cinematic view to our video. I also played with the effects of the video by editing the brightness, contrast and used colour correction to make blue stand out. This was to give off a lonely and cold feeling off the video.
I also tidied up all the transitions such as additive fades and cross dissolves we made sure the timing was done well so different bits of the clips can be seen, so the audience can tell what is going on at all times. We also had fade to blacks & whites, this was to add a more dramatic effect which we think we achieved.
Once we had viewed our video multiple times and were happy with it we now were ready to export it and put it online on youtube.
